I first became interested in fitness and physical training while successfully running away and hiding from black bears that were chasing me through my youthful stomping grounds of Anchorage, Alaska. I learned later in life that I had a knack for motivating others, for incorporating pilates techniques, TRX, bands, kettlebells and dumbbells into fun fat burner and strength training workouts that a
lways leave you satisfied, and inexplicably wanting more. One of my recent interval workouts includes so many Bulgarian split squats, Romanian dead lifts, and renegade rows, that you could switch to a diet consisting solely of twinkies and oreos. I strongly value nutrition and help all my interested clients stay on track with their calorie burning and daily intake goals. I train people with visual and physical disabilities, and with a broad spectrum of flexibility and core strength. I always provide several modifications for each exercise, as everyone’s body and musculature are unique. I will do whatever it takes to help my clients, will always support them when they succeed, and more importantly, will always be there if they “fall off the wagon” and need to start over. People may think I’m a meathead with abs, gluts, and biceps full of lead, but really:
