We had a great weekend at the 31st Annual Sacramento Karate Championships!

I heard from many parents that it was hot in the gym, and many of the competitors wanted to just go home. But you did me proud and stuck it out. This shows your commitment and determination to compete and win! Congratulations to all of you!

We had 29 students from our dojo attend this event and we came home with a total of 39 medals! 18 Gold, 6 Silver, and 15 Bronze. Way to go team!

On Sunday, 5 of our novice students attended the Success for Tomorrow seminar. What a great opportunity to train with Georgie Kotaka, Gakuji Tozaki, John Limcaco, and Tony Mendonca. It was a 4 hour jam packed seminar that left them all in a pool of sweat. All your hard work has not gone unnoticed. 👊🏼🥋

This was the last tournament of the season for many of you. I glad we went out with a loud bang!

Our competition team did a great job at the NCKF Karate Championships! We came home with a total of 42 medals!
Gold- 20
Silver- 10
Bronze- 12

Thank you Sensei Limcaco for today’s awesome kumite seminar! Our kids enjoyed it and learned a lot. Now they have some new skills to work on at the dojo. 👊🏻 Thank you Sensei Westernoff for hosting this event at your dojo. You are always working on ways to help our athletes improve. 🥋

12 of our elite team students travel to San Diego for the 2024 AAU Pacific Southwest District Championship. We brought home 7 gold medals, 3 silver medals, and 7 bronze medals!!

Shout out to Dylan for bringing home DOUBLE golds and Demi for bringing home TRIPLE golds!

Our elite team competed at the 2024 West Coast Championships this weekend in Yuba City. We brought home 18 gold, 7 silver, and 13 bronze medals from the tournament! Congratulations team!

Shoutout to Ryan and Yash for bringing home double golds in both kata and kumite!

Thank you to Sensei Eric, Sensei Will, Sempai Adrianna, Sempai Johanna, and Sempai Kyle for volunteering your time as referees. We appreciate your hard work and dedication.

Over the weekend, our top elite team athletes attended the Junior International Cup and US Open tournaments in Las Vegas‼️👏

Our final medal count was
14 gold 🥇
6 silver 🥈
and 12 bronze 🥉

Special shoutout to Sempai Kyle and Sempai Adrianna for placing first and third, respectively in the ELITE KATA division 🙌🙌🙌

This past Saturday, we held our annual dojo tournament!

All of our students had the opportunity to demonstrate their skills and precision in front of the judges. We also had many students who were able to show their team work and cooperation by competing in team kata!👏🏼

We are proud of all our students and we hope that this gives them the motivation to train even harder for next year! 💪🏼
