Today is a very important day for our organization: it is Senior Grandmaster Lee’s birthday today! He is the founder of Bok Fu Do and his courage, vision, and passion for martial arts are the reasons we are here today.

Senior Grandmaster Lee, your leadership and example have inspired many, and impacted thousands of people. Thank you for your dedication and discipline, and giving all of your students the opportunity to study Bok Fu Do. We are grateful for you every day, and will continue to uphold what you worked so hard for. Thank you, Senior Grandmaster Lee!

Welcome, 2026! As we begin a new year, we want to thank you for being with us through the highs and the lows that made up this past year. Wishing all of our students and families a very happy, healthy and successful New Year in mind, body and spirit! Onwards and upwards with this thing we call Bok Fu Do!

Thanks to the generosity of our incredible community, today we delivered over 100 gifts to the families at the Love A Child shelter in Bay Point. In the 1960s, Senior Grandmaster Lee began this tradition of providing for those in need during the holidays, and we are honored to carry on his legacy of giving. Wishing a happy holiday season to all!

We would like to wish all of our students a very happy Thanksgiving. East West Kung Fu is the amazing school it is today because of all of our students, and our entire staff is very grateful for each and every one of you. Our team has arrived in Sao Paulo, Brazil for the 8th TWKSF World Tournament. We look forward to spending the next few days in competition with martial artists around the world, and we hope you follow along to see all the exciting events!

We are excited to announce that our USA Team members will be competing at the 8th World Kuo Shu Championship tournament that will be taking place in Brazil from October 23rd to October 26th.

We are back from an incredible weekend of competition at the US International Kuo Shu Championships in Maryland. We want to extend our sincerest gratitude to Grandmaster Huang and Master Huang for hosting such a spectacular tournament. Since 1989, we have prioritized brining a team to this annual tournament because of the quality of the event and the people involved. This year, in particular was very special. As a USA team qualifier, our students worked hard to try to earn a spot on the team that will compete later this year in Brazil. Additionally, it was the first year without our teacher, Grandmaster Richard Lee. Although there was a lot of emotion, our students went out and represented his legacy with so much passion, respect and an incredibly helpful spirit. We know that he was there with us in spirit and so proud of the effort. It was a joy to be there with our Kuo Shu family and we are already looking forward to next year’s event!
