SRVA was founded in 1985 as the result of a merger between the Greenbrook AmberJacks, San Ramon Seawolves and Livermore AquaCowboy swim teams. Our name is the merge of these teams’ contributions to our swimming community. SRVA is known throughout the country as a first-class, year-round swim program. We offer a guided age-group program for children age 5 and up, from beginners to the most competitive and skilled swimmers. Over the years SRVA has shown a strong presence at local, National, and International level swim meets. When a young person becomes a member of SRVA, the swimmer learns the value of sportsmanship and teamwork. Through the San Ramon Valley Aquatics swim team, swimming provides, physical, emotional and intellectual skills that can last a lifetime. SRVA is part of the Pacific Swimming Local Swimming Community (LSC), which is part of the greater national governing body, USA Swimming. Pacific Swimming is the second largest LSC in USA Swimming’s 59 regional associations, and is made up of more than 120 swim clubs and more than 12,000 swimmers.
