THE NUMBERS DON'T LIE:
All you players and parents passing up opportunities for your kid to play at a 4 year school is crazy to me. Before all you JUCO guys blast me, it's not a bad route to take. I did it and so did a lot of my friends. That being said they can't be afraid to go, you can't be worried about them going. It's a chance to mature, grow up, see a different part of the country, and meet new people. The opportunity to play in college at any level is tough, so find somewhere that wants you, going to give you an opportunity to play, get an education and have fun. And guess what, if they don't like it THEY CAN COME HOME, crazy idea huh😂. Take it from me, once you decide to just be a student or get into the working world, you are going to have some regrets when you get older. And let's be real, how many dads who were athletes in high school, look back and wish you would've, could've played in college? And now you aren't going to give them a gentle nudge to go😉? And trust me, all the time energy and effort you put into this, you as parents are going to miss it too! Parents please make sure you have a serious talk with your kids, lay out the pros and the cons, take a visit to the school, do your due diligence, then if it's not a fit and the plan changes, the regret will sting a little less. Take it from someone who left one year of college eligibility on the table!
Congratulations to the 2024 Grads! All you that have supported TC Baseball myself and my boys Niko and Tino appreciate it, much love to you all!
