TourneyChamp removes the need for a whiteboard, and pen/paper allowing technology to complete the “heavy” lifting for you. Enabling the coach to observe mechanics, IQ, the “X” factor, and the ability to play with anyone to determine who’s the top athlete or TourneyChamp. TourneyChamp allows the coach to create a tournament quickly, track progress, identify top talent, or assist with the following practice plan.
TourneyChamp is not a round-robin nor bracketing application, and no seeding nor subjective intervention is required. Athletes will be randomized and play with and against each other to determine who is the TourneyChamp.
For the athlete, TourneyChamp has become a necessary tool to reinforce competition.
Specifically for the current generation, it provides:
• The opportunity for gamification
• Sharing the outcome with their social media outlets
• Boosting confidence while increasing knowledge of the game
• And yes, “bragging” rights
