Bodhi Jeffreys

Bodhi Jeffreys What Bodhi does, is help me heal and clear out those things that prevent me from going where I truly need and want to go, in the simplest possible way.

Bodhi Jeffreys helps CEOs and entrepreneurs tap into their deep insight and practical wisdom to lead more powerfully and effectively, with unyielding integrity, clarity, and authenticity. Calvin Correli — President & CEO, Creator of Simplero New York, New York

"I have used many coaches over the years, but Bodhi is one that I return to because he is simply in a class of his own. My experience has

been that a lot of coaches can help you get to your goals faster, only to have you realize that those goals didn't actually fulfill you or give you what you thought they would. What Bodhi does almost makes traditional coaching obsolete."

Christopher McAuliffe — Master Certified Coach President & CEO, Accomplishment Coaching Coach Training Company San Diego, California

"Bodhi’s support goes beyond my stated projects and goals. Since working with him I have become a better leader, a better boss, a better husband and a better father. Bodhi is what coaching is all about. It seems like magic how he is able to hone in on the exact thing that brings me more power, or more clarity, or returns my calm and centered focus. If you want to become a better version of yourself or to fulfill on what you think you can create – I recommend working with Bodhi."

Sofia Manning — Best-Selling Author, Founder of Manning Inspire Copenhagen, Denmark

"I have met and trained a lot of coaches and being a coach myself I have very high standards for what I think a great coach is. Bodhi is more than a great coach, he is a healer and teacher as well as a brilliant coach. Bodhi's insight into guiding me to truth is rare and unique. I feel lucky to have the opportunity to work with him and highly recommend his coaching to anyone who is committed to truth."

Daniel Alvarez, Ph.D. — CEO and Founder, Purity ReSource, Inc. Vista, California USA

My work with Bodhi has led to an outstanding improvement in my critical decision-making. I now work with greater ease, have more enjoyment, and function at a level higher than ever before — all while growing a leading-edge organization."

Helle Laursen — CEO, Nordic Center for Mindful Self-Compassion Silkeborg, Denmark

"Across years of working with Bodhi, I always leave sessions filled with gratitude, feeling more empowered, grounded, and having more clarity and energy to bring to my work. Thanks to his amazing ability I’ve learned to be more deeply aware. It’s so much easier to see what’s really going on in challenging situations now that I don’t get hooked or stuck. Instead, I’m free to more wisely and effectively communicate and take action. Bodhi is a great coach who embodies wisdom and takes coaching to a new level: it is healing, very practical, and supports my commitment to live an aware, compassionate life."

As a result, the University is far more focused and productive, and in a much better position to serve and grow our student population. Bodhi's business acumen and insight brought me to a whole new level. What a difference!"

When we try to avoid feeling fear, we waste a lot of energy pushing it away. Said another way, resistance to feeling is friction and drains energy.

Instead, conscious leaders will be aware of feeling fear and be able to allow the discomfort of that feeling.

Free of trying to avoid it, we position ourselves to be better able to address the fear directly. And facing our fears in the toughest situations allows us to see far more clearly and to act wisely.

What we’ll find is that most of the fear we experience is generated by some degree of irrational thinking. And those fear-based thoughts will not hold up once we take a discerning look at them.

Seeing through the illusions of these kinds of fear-generating thoughts and beliefs enables us to lead optimally, with our capacity to assess and make quality decisions unimpaired.

How do you handle all of this? How do you raise your awareness sufficiently to be able to see what’s really going on inside of you so that you’re free to make wise decisions?

Resistance to What Is is the experience of getting mentally and emotionally fixated about something we don’t want or can’t accept.

Resistance to any aspect of what we’re experiencing builds tension in the body, co-opts our attention and focus, and reduces our capacity to be clear-headed.

Allowing What Is does NOT mean that we roll over or become doormats. It simply means that we absolutely and neutrally accept that a challenge has surfaced. This optimizes our capacity to lead brilliantly — with nothing in the way of our intelligence and wisdom.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗳𝘁 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲
Can you remember the feeling of being in resistance to getting some bad news in your business? That sense of “No!” arising in you? It could be the loss of an important client, failure of a launch, bad financial news, etc.

If you became reactive, mind racing, communicate with intensity, or any other behavior that comes out of “fight, flight, or freeze” mode, then you went into fear and resistance.

But we have an empowering solution for that. Start with being gentle with yourself. We’re all doing the best we can in any given moment, armed with the internal and external resources we have. We’ll never do any of this perfectly.

Next, take a minute to consider how much better that experience could have been for you had you taken a deep breath and allowed the objective existence of that news.

This doesn’t mean you have to like it or celebrate it. But saying, “Yes!” to the situation would release the pressure of any resistance that limits your abilities, leaving you free to remain calm and clearheaded, and to respond wisely and effectively.

Play with this, but start small, like with a mildly irritating situation in your company. See how you do. If you need help getting better at this, I’m here to assist.

𝗔𝗻𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗹𝘀 & 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝗻 𝗛𝗲𝗹𝗽 𝗨𝘀 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘆 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁 & 𝗞𝗲𝗲𝗽 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝗖𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿
We all find ourselves going into a state of resistance from time to time. At some point, the discomfort of stress, anxiety, and tightness in the body will be strong enough to cause us to notice it. Noticing is our signal that an internal shift is required.

The moment we become aware we’re in resistance is simply our next opportunity to objectively accept What Is. It’s not a big deal. We see it, come back into reality, and we can then begin to respond to whatever requires our attention.
