Palomar RC Flyers, Inc. Palomar R/C Flyers is San Diego County's largest powered radio-controlled flying club. We have a 600 ft.

asphalt runway, four separate helicopter pads, a pit area with tables and chairs, toilet facilities, plenty of parking, and an RV parking area (no facilities). Johnson Field is located at the northeast corner of Highway 76 and I-15 (Pankey Rd.). Meetings are held at the Josyln Senior Center, 101 Richmar Rd., San Marcos, CA. Flying is from 8:00am (9:00am on Sunday) to dark every day for members. Th

e gates are open to the public on weekends and holidays. Monthly meetings are held on the 3rd Thursday of each month starting at 7:15pm (December excluded.)

After the General Club meeting (10/19/2024@9AM) get ready to take advantage of the bargains at the field.
Members, bring your treasures to the field on 10/19 and share in the fun of adding to the flying experience of the group.

Get ready, Palomar RC Flyers is gearing up for its next big event, in conjunction with the AMA - National Model Aviation Day!

This will take place on August 17, from 9 am - 2 pm, and will have all sorts of cool things to see.

Immediately following our club meeting, we'll have combat mayhem, Helicopter demos, awe inspiring aerobatic flight, jets, warbirds, and maybe even some weird and wacky stuff that you've never seen fly before!

Free lunch will be provided, and if you want to give flying a try, we'll have flight instructors and planes for you to try your hand.

The best part? This event will be FREE! So come out and enjoy it with us!
