Grupo Folklórico Ocotochtli Hello! This is the official page for Grupo Folklorico Ocotochtli @ Texas State University.

Please feel free to like our page to stay informed on our events, classes, performances, and competitions. In November of 1993, ten students representing Hispanic organizations at the Texas State campus, gathered to share their culture at the annual homecoming talent show. Because of an award winning performance, Grupo Folklorico emerged into a student campus organization that is alive and well to

this day. Since its inception, it has shared much success and has performed throughout the University and its surrounding community. We, the current generation of Bobcats, hope to bring pride to our folklorico veterans and our University with our new folklorico dancers!

What a night!!! Thank you so much to everyone who came out to Progress Coffee Buda tonight for our Cinco De Mayo Night Market at Progress!!! The Weather held out for us and we had such a wonderful time with y’all.

Huge shout out to the Amazing Vendors who took the chance and decided to still show up despite the uncertain Weather! This group of Vendors we have are truly one of a kind and we are so thankful they are part of our Family.

To Grupo Folklórico Ocotochtli and Simon Middle School’s Mariachi, you KILLED IT!!! You were the cherry on top of our Night and we can’t thank you enough for making the time to come perform. 💃🎻

Thank you again to our favorite Venue to host Markets at, , we love you!! 🙌🏼
