I don’t want to write this because I don’t want to accept that it’s true.
You were the type of friend that everyone needs, doing anything you could for the people in your circle, raising all of our lives in the process.
You had a larger-than-life persona; your smile and positivity were infectious. You made others believe they could do it, too.
You were my biggest design champion. I loved working with you and am honored you asked me to create logo
You were the inspiration for . “Find the hardest thing there is to make and figure out how to make it.” - I quite literally couldn’t have done without you; I love that you were so stoked on what I was trying to do. Thank you for always having my back. Your never-ending encouragement meant the world to me.
I loved our talks about bikes, business, design, and everything in between. I love that you’d take time from your insane schedule to grab lunch or dinner whenever you were nearby. I’m devastated knowing that words of wisdom and encouragement are no longer a text or phone call away. I’m bummed we never got to ride MTB together or for my wife & to become friends like we talked about. All that aside, I’m glad that you’re at peace.
Everything you did improved BMX. UGP, Roots Jam, and Shadow Conspiracy were all trailblazers.
I’ll always remember you genuinely stoked. You were so excited for everyone’s wins.
Your impact on me, bikes and our culture will be felt for decades to come.
Thank you for 25yrs of friendship. Thank you for being a sound board. Thank you for asking for advice.
Thank you for everything. Ride in peace 🙏💔🙏
