Dominate counts, dominate games. Regardless of level or where you get the data from, its clear: the difference between a 1-2 count and a 2-1 count is HUGE. Bottom line, 2 of first 3 pitches in an AB should be strikes if you want consistent success!

Starting this page to give a platform for players/coaches/parents of all levels and ages to share information, ask questions about recruiting, development, training, or anything else that may come to mind. I want to make myself available as a resource for all and help players develop and take the right steps toward reaching their goals. This page will be an informative platform and I want to encourage all who are interested to follow and contribute their own perspective and experiences. Sports are for everyone, and there are opportunities to play in college for just about anyone who truly wants it. Hoping for a truly open forum and positive discussion in this page.

As a player, I was able to earn all conference honors 3x in 4 full seasons (2x in JUCO, 1x ACC) and now am a pitching coach at an NAIA University in San Diego County. Before all that, I was a little leaguer, travel ball player in a small town, and high school player without a clear understanding of how to get where I wanted to be. I was far from highly recruited, but I was fortunate to be surrounded by supportive people and a few great coaches that helped throughout the way. Being in this position now, I’d like to be able to give back any way that I can to younger players who’s shoes I was once in. Looking forward to connecting with as many of you as possible!

On top of coaching and my own training, I program individualized throwing, S&C, mobility, and arm care maintenance for players. They are comprehensive monthly programs that put a targeted development plan in place and map out each day for the entire month. Monthly programs can be written for individual players or for entire teams. I’m also available for private lessons and instruction.

Attached is some information on the different kinds of programs available, my own achievements in baseball, and in the comments is a short highlight video of me pitching for Pitt.

To help all youth and high school players with aspirations to improve performance and get to the next level, I’ll be available to make individualized throwing programs with the option to include scripted strength & conditioning and mobility training as well. As the spring season approaches, it is important to be on a consistent schedule to manage workload, optimize recovery, and maximize performance throughout the entire season.

Programs will be tailored to each person and their specific situation. Factors may include age, position(s), workload, in-season/off-season, health, strength, and experience.

Pitchers that sign up for a program are given access to college and professional level mental cues and pitching philosophy that can be greatly beneficial to a player’s mentality and performance. I will also be available to breakdown any video you send me with mechanical tips and suggestions and discuss potential improvements to your game.

For players in San Diego County, I am available for hitting/pitching/defensive lessons by appointment.

Lets have a great season!
