The San Luis AZ Parks and Recreation Department began a Volunteer Coaches Appreciation Program to recognize each and every one of the coaches from all disciplines who, year after year, voluntarily support the City of San Luis in the realization of our leagues.

Oscar “Coach” Lara, pioneer of Flag Football in our community, has an experience in this discipline of 25 years, founder of the adult flag football team Lobos, and Youth cowboys in the catch and go flag football league. He is a transmitter of principles and values on and off the playing fields.
