Adult Fencing
6:30 - 10:00 pm

6:45 - 10:00 pm

Beginning fencers are being accepted on the first Monday of each month! Tell EVERYONE!

Happy Thanksgiving! Highlanders Fencing is high on my gratitude list. I think it is kind of a special treasure in the world of fencing. Run by passionate volunteers, excellent coaches, and practically free, it has been a rare find indeed, a supportive, fun, and diverse community. I will certainly miss the club in my move to Colorado. So far in my search for a replacement, I found... “Fencing lessons $115 for four lessons” ...yikes!

To those I'm leaving behind, a huge thank you, and best wishes! Please appreciate the unique value and opportunity the club represents. Step up and support it in any way you can, join the executive board, (the Secretary position is opening up 😉), spread the word, grow the membership, volunteer, and celebrate with gratitude!

Hello fencers,

Just wanted to give you a heads up that we are adjusting our practice times and emphasis. The new practice schedule is as follows:

Mondays: 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm Youth fencing (age 10 – 17
8:00 pm to 10:00 pm Adult fencing

Thursdays: 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm Open fencing (12 and up)

Saturdays: 8:30 am to 10:00 am
Beginning fencing class (limited duration, ends November 13)

Thursday's practice will now have an emphasis on beginning and intermediate Foil, but fencers of all levels and weapons are welcome.

We are also now accepting new fencers on either practice night as they come in order to help grow the club back. If you know of anyone interested, please have them contact Coach Eric!

We’re BACK!

Starting Monday, July 26, Highlanders will be back at the First Presbyterian Church, Third Floor Gym! Covid protocols will be in place and we will continue to follow all county and church mandates. Please review the protocols on our website: sanluishighlanders.org

Also, our hours have changed to respect these protocols, so please check the new schedule in the info section, and beginner fencing classes are on hold until further notice.
