So many things have been said about this workout and the WHY. So what is the Why? Is it to give honor to Lt. Michael Murphy and his work in Operation Red Wing? Yes, it is. Is it to give honor to those who have given the ultimate price for our freedom? Yes, it is. If it weren’t for them, then we would not have the freedoms. But it’s about something even more. It’s what we CrossFitters have done since the beginning. We do hard s**t. We get comfortable doing the uncomfortable. We stand at the front of seemingly impossible tasks and just get to work. We just jump in and do it. yes its hard. yes its uncomfortable. yes its a s**t ton of reps. Yes, it may be overprogrammed for you. Yes, you will probably be sore afterwards. BUT, you are a CrossFitter, and CrossFit gets you ready to be able to do all kinds of hard s**t. The goal today is for you to DO the workout, whatever that means. Maybe Rx, maybe particitoned, maybe a half. whatever. Just come in and remind yourself that you do hard s**t! Happy Memorial to you!!
