As race day gets closer, some things start to changeβand some things should stay exactly the same.
Training begins to shift toward race-pace efforts, and I spend more time dialing in travel logistics, checking equipment, and making sure all the little details are covered. But one thing I never change is spending time with the people who make training fun.
Seeing friends, sharing miles, and training alongside athletes who motivate and inspire me helps keep race anxiety low and spirits high. ππ½ββοΈπ΄π½ββοΈππ½ββοΈ
Itβs easy to get caught up in the pressure of an upcoming race, but donβt forget to keep doing the things that make you happy. Consistency isnβt just about trainingβitβs about maintaining the routines, relationships, and mindset that keep you grounded.
Race day is important, but enjoying the journey is what makes it all worthwhile.
