Eden Athletic Club

Eden Athletic Club Established in 1972, we are a non-profit youth basketball league based in San Lorenzo, CA.

The Eden Athletic Club (EAC) was formally established in 1972, however, Eden basketball has been in the East Bay for over 80 years, when Ashland Gakuen, the precursor to the Eden Japanese Community Center, brought youth basketball to the local Japanese American community. The need for a sport such as basketball, that stresses physical fitness and recreation in a friendly environment, was evident f

rom the start. Linking those goals with the Eden Japanese American community made it much more than just playing basketball.
