I remember 12 to 13 years ago when my thirst for "indoor organized basketball" was quenched by FILCOM. Back then it was smaller and they did an amazing job by bringing the Filipino communities and families together from far and wide. How special it felt to step on a hardwood floor and bounce and shoot a basketball inside a gymnasium. I remember when Fathers and Uncles were coaching the teams and all the players respected and appreciated their guidance. Back when families and friends came out and cheered and supported their hearts out for "All" the players and teams with pride and joy. Back when "organizers" really cared about the community and actually looked people in the eye and shook their hands, gave them a hug and showed respect and appreciation for the opportunity to serve them. We all shared in everyone's victories and picked each other up after a loss. We are working really hard to keep those feelings and love for the game alive at CSB, PPBL and PBAddicts. It's been 10 years of service and we are grateful for the opportunity to serve all of you!

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT! NO GAMES THIS SUNDAY AT HAYWARD HIGH THIS WEEKEND!
We just received a notice from Coach Sunny that the floor is getting a facelift. It will be getting cleaned and get a fresh coat of wax. The gym will not be available until August 15. We will update the Google Schedule Spreadsheet and the CSB August Calendar today. The season will resume on August 19 at Hayward High.
If we find a gym before August 19, we will notify all of you.

And it begins, the Papaya Soap Experiment. I love my brown skin but I have to see if this papaya soap is everything that it is cracked up to be. I am not expecting to be milky white by the end of this experiment. Maybe by washing my face twice a day and moisturizing it more will make an overall difference in my facial appearance but will my skin complexion lighten? We shall see.
Thank you to Mike Carmen for getting me the two bars of Likas Soap and Pao De Leon for inspiring this experiment.
