Our program delivers a fitness that is, by design, broad, general, and inclusive. Our specialty is not specializing. Combat, surviv

al, many sports, and life reward this kind of fitness and, on average, punish the specialist. The CrossFit program is designed for universal scalability making it the perfect application for any committed individual regardless of experience. We’ve used our same routines for elderly individuals with heart disease and cage fighters one month out from televised bouts. We scale load and intensity; we don’t change programs. The needs of Olympic athletes and our grandparents differ by degree not kind. Our terrorist hunters, skiers, mountain bike riders and housewives have found their best fitness from the same regimen. At C2C you can anticipate spending your hour doing a warm up, skills training (lifting, jump rope, pull-ups, etc.), WOD (workout of the day), cool-down stretch and a few high fives. We are always looking forward to sharing our positive attitude and cues with our athletes, while focussing on technique to the fullest extent. This is always one of my favorite pictures every year. It shows a bunch of very happy faces just following a very crazy work out called “12 days of Christmas “ swipe to see what it’s all about. Like the style of the song …” on the first day of CrossFit my true love gave to me one wall ball… On the second day of Christmas my true love gave to me to handstand push-ups and a wall ball… On the third day of Christmas my true love gave to me three dumbbell squat cleans, to handstand push-ups and the wall ball. On the fourth day of Christmas my true love gave to me, four sit ups, three dumbbell squat cleans, two handstand push-ups and a wall ball… On the fifth day of Christmas my true love gave to me five effing Burpee‘s, four sit ups, three dumbbell squat cleans, two handstand push-ups on a wall ball” (and so on and so on and so on)… and then finally comes, “on the 12th day of Christmas my true love gave to me 12 goblet squats, 11 toes to bar, 10 double unders, nine box jumps, eight hands off the ground push-ups, seven kettle bell swings, six pull-ups, five effing Burpee‘s, for sit ups, three dumbbell squat cleans, two handstand push-ups and a wall ball…”swipe again, it’s Chapman‘s last day with us before moving to Tennessee. What a work out to end it all. We will miss you buddy, you were a great addition to our C2C box family! Many blessings to you in Nashville.

SQUAT THERAPY. We can all use a little fine-tuning, practice and loading when it comes to this foundational movement. It is a basic human function that doesn’t seem so basic for many. The key is to not shy away from having to squat; lean into the challenge of practice, patience, time and a pair of coaching eyes and you’ll improve, I promise.
