Beautiful pictures of Taboo, FEI Grand Prix gelding by Flemmingh out of Halekulani that I bred and that Jaclyn so beautifully developed and showed at the upper levels. Still in great shape too! Very special boy.

Josh Albrecht, who bought a lot of my mares when I retired, bred this lovely filly out of Cara Mia, a mare I bred too. Unfortunately she couldn’t get in foal at the home I sold her to, but she did get in foal for Josh by the KWPN dressage stallion Cum Laude (Apache x Weltmeyer).

This filly looks just like how Cara Mia has produced for me too: long legged and elegant, with a nice temperament for any type of rider. Cara Mia is a grand daughter of my late approved FEI Grand prix stallion IJsselmeer’s full sister. From her came several FEI Grand Prix horses.

Such a lovely message I received from Jaclyn Pepper-Millard! She owns Taboo that I bred, which she competed at Grand Prix with and has purchased One’a from me in 2020. She calls him ‘Ollie’ now and wrote:

“I took Ollie to his first show! I am showing him under the name Obsidian. He was an absolute rockstar! I had not taken him off property much at all and he was entered at the last second so I wasn’t sure how he was going to be. He went above and beyond my wildest expectations and won every single class with scores up to a 71.5%! Comments from the judges were “wow just wow!!!”
I am so proud of him! He was so wonderful I really couldn’t even believe it! Not a foot out of place. He has come such a long way from being the very scared little yearling that I couldn’t even pet, to this confident little guy! So exciting, I am so proud of him!”
