Tough finish for the Jags in Sacramento 💔🐆
San José City fell 31-27 after Sacramento City’s game-winning TD run with 22 seconds left.
✨ Standouts:
🔹 QB Cedeno Chavez — 254 yds, 2 TDs + rushing TD
🔹 WR Jaalen Mhoon — 9 catches, 112 yds, TD

Sacramento City stunned San José City 31-27 at Hughes Stadium as QB Jason Wilson scored the game-winning 1-yard TD run with 22 seconds left. Cedeno Chavez threw for 254 yards and 2 TDs for the Jaguars, but the Panthers’ big plays and late drive sealed the victory.

San José City College opened its season with a 39-19 win over Shasta on Saturday at Jaguar Stadium. The Jaguars scored twice on fumble returns and built a 36-6 halftime lead. Quarterback Cedeno Chavez threw for 275 yards and two touchdowns, while Shasta’s Andrew Brown rushed for two scores.
