Dylan’s Favorite CDC Memory: My favorite CDC memory is not dropping Darcey when I had to carry her on my back in Ms. Kaela’s lyrical dance my Sophomore year. She definitely had a lot of faith in me despite it being only my second show.

Dylan’s Favorite CDC Dance: My favorite CDC dance is Ravens, a class dance choreographed by Ms. Chelsea for Imagine a Tale. It was so fun to perform and made contemporary one of my fav styles 😊

Our next senior that’s moving forward into the world is Aila Brockbank! Aila will be attending CalPoly San Luis Obispo, majoring in Journalism and planning to continue dancing in one of SLO’s dance companies. Go Mustangs!

Aila’s Favorite CDC Memory: My favorite CDC memory is being backstage through the years with my friends for competitions. The supportive and loving atmosphere is so inspiring to be a part of and always got me excited and ready to dance.

Aila’s Favorite CDC Dance: My favorite dance I have performed is Emily Rosa’s “Spell On You”!

We will miss Aila at the studio, but cannot wait to see what she brings to CalPoly! Congratulations and good luck, Aila! 💌✨

Lauren’s Favorite CDC Memory: My favorite CDC memory is standing backstage watching and cheering on all of my best friends at competitions!

Lauren’s Favorite CDC Dance: My favorite CDC dance I’ve performed was “Kindred” because it was a really special dance for our team and we won AOM Triple Heart with it!

We are so proud of Lauren and hope she has a fantastic time at TCU! 🤍💫

SENIOR SPOTLIGHT 🌸💫

Our next senior we would love to shoutout is Mae Paul! Mae will be majoring in history at De Anza College and transferring to a UC with a TAG to UC Irvine, all while being involved with their the honors program and Music Club. She hopes to become a journalist!

Mae’s Favorite CDC Memory: My favorite CDC memories are the Friday and show week rehearsals! I loved watching the other classes and taking inspiration from their beautiful dancing, as well as supporting the dancers. It was a great time to relax, chat, and laugh.

Mae’s Favorite CDC Dance: My favorite dance would be The Ravens. Because dance was my non-competitive performing art, the shows were stress-free and just an amazing opportunity to have fun. This dance in particular was innovative and so well choreographed. I’ll miss the studio so much!

Congratulations to Mae and good luck in all of your endeavors! ☀️

Nadia Kadric is the first of our many wonderful 2026 seniors we’d love to commemorate! Nadia is headed to San Jose State to major in Elementary Education. Go Spartans!

Nadia’s Favorite CDC Memory: My favorite CDC memory was after I came offstage for the very last time, and being with all of my friends and TA kids one last time as a whole team.

Nadia’s Favorite CDC Dance: My favorite CDC dance was “North” because it was my first lyrical dance and it was so special being able to share the love our team had for each other through that dance!
