Verbero Voltage Hockey

Verbero Voltage Hockey Midget/junior hockey team located out of Silver Creek Sportsplex in San Jose, Ca. In early July, in Huntington Beach, Voltage played in the AAU Bantam final.

Verbero Voltage ise a Midget (18&U) roller hockey team located out of Silver Creek Sportsplex in San Jose, CA. When Voltage was conceived, it was a group of friends, mostly Bantam-aged skaters that wanted to skate “up in the Midgets” for fun. Though they have never practiced, they've had some successes and took home several medals through our first year. Through team chemistry, positive attitudes,

fitness, and a little talent, they'd gone on to beat some extraordinarily talented teams, including the Elite Midget team in an AAU qualifier, who ultimately played at the Platinum level in the NARCh finals. As the year has progressed saw a steady improvement in team-work to the point where playing against Silver, and Single-A teams longer seemed exciting. Voltage is now to a point where a competitive loss, or a close win in the upper divisions are much more fun than consistent wins in Silver/Single-A divisions. We began AA/AAA division and with a very tough draw (drawing the four of the five highest-seeded teams). Though they didn’t win those games, they were very competitive, and every Voltage player agreed that it was the most fun they’d ever had playing hockey. They eventually ended up falling from AAA, and from there, they took home a Bronze medal beating the Great Britain AA team in the final.
