Nikko Jujitsu School Nikko Jujitsu School was founded in Hawaii in 1937 and has been serving the Bay Area for since 1966.

Our training is deeply rooted in the Kodenkan Danzan Ryu Jujitsu tradition, which uniquely combines the time-honored principles of Japanese martial arts.

Honoring the roots of Danzan Ryu Jujitsu

We had the opportunity to visit the gravesites of Professor Richard Bunch, his professor Sig Kufferath, and Professor Henry Seishiro Okazaki, the founder of Danzan Ryu Jujitsu.

A meaningful moment to pay our respects to the teachers who came before us and helped preserve and pass down the art we continue practicing today.

Remember the past. Honor the lineage. Carry the art forward.
