Dear Spartan Nation,

Thank you for the countless memories we’ve shared in the past four years. I know things ended abruptly, but the love never disappeared. This has been an unforgettable ride and even when life threw me off course, Spartan Nation never stopped showing love. Thank you, SJSU, for four incredible years of memories, support, and community.

As I move on, I just wanted to say that it was an honor to see you all grow alongside of me. Whether you posted about an athletic achievement, an academic accomplishment, or you enjoying life, I loved showing support and cheering you on as you went. I will keep my social media pages active incase any of you need someone to talk to. Seriously, it can be about anything. I’m here for you.

As we all go our separate paths in this blessing that we call life, I just wanted you to know that you always will have a duck in your corner cheering you on 💙💛

WELCOME BACK SPARTANS!

I hope you had an amazing break! As classes start up again and the bread-getting resumes, I would like to remind you all that you should always take care of yourself! Do what’s best for YOU!

I understand that life can get really stressful as a student. In a hectic time where assignments are due and exams are on the horizon, it’s easy to get “lost in the sauce” and forget that you’re not only a student, but a human.

My advice is to find your outlet! Whether it’s meditation, exercise, getting something to eat, or attending events like me, finding something you truly enjoy doing will greatly improve your life as a student. I understand not everybody has the same ways of relieving stress, but keeping an open mind and trying new things has helped me live my best life!

But in my opinion, the most important thing is to communicate! You’re not in this fight alone. I guarantee that the struggles that you’re currently facing will be made easier to deal with if you communicate with those that you hold close. Whether it’s getting something off of your chest or talking about what happened during your day, communicating is an underrated way to relieve stress.

If you’re ever in need of help, academically or personally, our university provides many great resources that even I’ve used to improve my life as a Spartan! Check the pinned comment below!
