BAT 1000 OVERVIEW
Inspired by what Sports Illustrated called “The Perfect Game”, and the Los Angeles Times noted as “the finest all around one-game career in major league history, BAT 1000 is a non-profit organization offering baseball training programs by Coach John Paciorek and a staff with over 50 years of youth coaching experience. A former high school All-American in baseball, basketball and
football and one of three brothers to play major league baseball, Coach Paciorek has been featured in the Guinness Book of World Records, the Sports Illustrated “Where are they Now” edition and is the subject of the upcoming book, “Perfect – The Rise and Fall of John Paciorek, Baseball’s Greatest One-Game Wonder. On September 29, 1963, playing for the Houston C**t 45’s, Coach Paciorek made baseball history by going 3 for 3, resulting in a perfect 1.000 “lifetime” batting average in his one and only big league game.
