Training today was focused on stability. Strength and stability go hand in hand, but without stability, there can be no real strength. It is the stability muscles that give us real strength, those of the torso, the abdominal and back muscles, and the deep core muscles. Relying on brute force may provide short term results but in the end leads to long term problems and, most likely, injury. When the stability muscles are engaged and correct postural alignment is taken into account, movements that follow are efficient and functional.

The RobFit Youth Sport Development program gets underway July 4 providing an excellent opportunity for your child (ages 8 to 12 and 13 to 16) to work on sport specific conditioning throughout July and August.
