Hi friends, a very important post today about the big changes happening at Mission Bicycle Company. But first, we would first like to thank you for the years of support. Over the last decade all our efforts were driven by a mission: to help everyone fall in love with cycling and to build the best bikes possible. Living up to that credo has been an incredibly fun journey with countless highlights along the way. We are honored to have shared those moments with each of you.
It has not been an easy road leading to this decision, but in a nutshell, Mission Bicycle Company is dramatically scaling back our current operations in order to rebuild our business in a way that ensures a bright future for the company.
What does that mean?
1 - Our Retail Store at 766 Valencia Street will remain closed to the public. 2 - We are currently unable to accept any new orders for custom bikes, frames, or products. 3 - If you already placed an order with us it WILL be seen through to completion. Our customers have, and will continue to be our first priority. 4 - The best way to reach us is through our email “info@ missionbicycle.com”
We want everyone to know Mission Bicycle Company is not closing its doors for good. While we are pressing “pause” on new orders, a great deal will continue to happen behind the scenes and we fully intend to emerge on the other side with something awesome. The past ten years have been an absolute pleasure, and capturing all our thoughts and emotions in one space is impossible. So from the bottom of our hearts, thank you. To every one of you. To the Mission. To San Francisco, the best city in the world. And to anyone who believes that cycling leads to greater things. We would not be here today without all of you. We’ll see you soon.
