San Francisco's small fitness studios are in trouble. We haven't been able to reopen in any meaningful manner since March yet the costs of maintaining our businesses have not stopped.
The San Francisco Independent Fitness Studio Coalition(SFIFSC), which Fitness Urbano is a member of, has been working with the SF Office of Economic and Workforce Development since May to develop guidelines based on the recommendations of the State of CA and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention for reopening.

The Department of Public Health has “not been able to tell the SFIFSC what science they’re using to prevent personal training from restarting.

Please do what you can to support your local neighborhood fitness studios and help keep this vital industry afloat. Fitness Urbano asks you to contact San Francisco officials and urge them to work with the SFIFSC in finalizing protocols that will allow this industry to re-open for business in a safe and responsible manner.
