Our forest school classes have been so engaging this fall. It’s amazing to see the children learning so much about the world while playing outside! Our Berkeley area small group currently has a W, F opening and we’ve just started an after school group in Berkeley as well. A MESSAGE FROM OUR CEO GINA M. FROMER: "Our country, our state, our city, and our communities are hurting right now, because of a group of people who have shown a blatant lack of appreciation for the lives of our fellow Black Americans.

Short article to share that summarizes relevant research! I love when research backs up what we as parents and educators instinctively know!

The study, published in the journal PLOS One, assessed the impacts of nature play on the health and development of children between two and 12 years of age, and found that the activities improved children''s complex thinking skills, social skills, and creativity.
