IGNProLeague In Season one of the IGN Pro League, 16 of the best North American StarCraft II players from 9 different teams competed for USD $5,000.

The IGN Pro League offers a professional, polished and interactive viewing experience to fans of eSports and supports the development of global competitive gaming through a sustainable tournament system that rewards professional players. In IPL 2, we had 32 of the best players in the world competing for $50,000 including IdrA, WhiteRa, MaNa, Nerchio, SeleCT, ThorZaIN, and more! IPL 3 was our first

live event, taking place in Atlantic City on October 6th - 9th. A $100,000 prize pool was up for grabs for StarCraft II, while $20,000 was on the line for our League of Legends Invitational! For IPL 4, we brought StarCraft II and League of Legends to Las Vegas, Nevada for a $150,000 prize pool, and established eSports' place in Sin City as premier entertainment. In August 2012, we brought the first major eSports event to the San Francisco Bay Area with IPL Face Off: San Francisco Showdown, which featured the Season 3 Grand Finals of the IPL Team Arena Challenge, and 8 North American and Asian League of Legend teams. With the announcement of IPL 5 back in Sin City at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, we're aiming for a complete take-over of the city that never sleeps. In addition to our main events, the IGN Pro League also invaded SxSW, E3, Hot Import Nights, and the San Diego Comic-Con, and we're marching on PAX Prime with Shootmania.
