Our community is mourning the sudden loss of Coach Rami Hammadi, a beloved coach, mentor, colleague, and friend. Rami brought incredible energy, knowledge, and heart to every space he entered, from San Francisco soccer clubs to his work at the Four Seasons, and he left a lasting mark on so many young athletes and families. A former professional player with ACF Fiorentina in Italy, Rami shared his love of the game by coaching across every level of youth development, always pushing players to grow with discipline, resilience, and confidence. But beyond all of his accomplishments, Rami’s greatest pride was his family. He was the sole financial provider for his wife, Tandrika, and their son, Amir, and his sudden passing has left them facing both heartbreaking grief and deep financial uncertainty.
This fundraiser is for Tandrika and Amir as they navigate life without Rami. Tandrika is currently pursuing a PhD, and Amir is entering his sophomore year at Nativity High School. Support from this campaign will help ease the burden of essential living expenses, provide stability for Amir’s education and growth, and give Tandrika the space to continue her doctoral studies without immediate financial disruption. Rami gave so much of himself to shaping our kids and strengthening our community, and now it is our turn to show up for the family he loved so deeply.
