On Friday, Team Proper and Head Coach Junior Salientes announced the signing of Kareem Abdulla. Abdulla is the regining Battle of Atlanta and U.S. Open Heavyweight Sparring Champion. Team Proper’s official statement noted:

“Kareem brings a different kind of energy to what we’ve built - a strong presence, a unique style that reflects what sets Team Proper apart, and a mindset that fits exactly what we stand on. His work ethic and approach to the sport make him a perfect addition to the Proper family.”

This move follows other significant point fighter signings in the last few weeks, including Savannah Wolaniuk to Top Ten Team USA and Jarvis Miller to Team Next Level.
