For the people who are feeling a little lost, unsure about where your life is leading you, unsure what your end game is...
You should be really f***** excited
It’s during the times of questioning and unsureness that wild plans are forming around you, FOR you
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, you CAN’T mess it up
What’s meant for you won’t miss you
Lately a lot of the people around me have been questioning what they want to do and they talk about it with this tone of distress
I’ve been there. Countless nights of waking up in the middle of the night laying in bed asking myself “What am I gonna do?” “How am I gonna figure this out?”
“How am I going to make money and feel lit up and fulfilled all at the same time?”
It would stress me TF out
Challenge yourself to ask yourself those questions from a place of excitement
Get so excited that you don’t know the answers
It just means that literally ANYTHING can happen for you
Reminder: You can do anything. You can be anything. You can make as much money as you want. You can be the happiest you’ve ever been. You can have whatever it is you want to have
Big things are brewing in 2020 and just because you might not know what those big things are you even want, they’re coming
And you should be super freakin excited

A few years ago I was sitting on the York College lawn writing that I was going to one day have an office in San Francisco that had a flower bed outside the window. I would be doing personal development work in my office.

I was a sophomore in college and my major at the time was PR.

I also wrote that I’d be with the man of my dreams and he would no doubt be a musician that I was head over heels in love with. This was my vision.

So after carrying around my overly heavy backpack through airports all day Friday (thanks to my outdated laptop that has done me no wrong so far so 🤷🏻‍♀️) we finally arrived to our San Fran Airbnb.

I was anxious to get inside and get some work done before Sam’s show and we were standing outside waiting for the host and that’s when I spotted the flower bed outside the window.

It was a MOMENT.

A moment of re-realizing “holy s**t, the Universe DELIVERS.”

In ways we can never comprehend.

A little bit later, we were grilling on a rooftop that overlooked the Golden Gate Bridge at twilight hour and the host was a friend of Sam’s from college.

When I got talking to him, he shared with me all the personal development books he’s been reading that are so. badass.

It was such an amazing connection.

Sometimes we feel really off track.

That’s when the Universe swoops in and says “NOPE. You’re on track.”

And you have nothing left to do but surrender.

Listen, the Universe hears all your deepest desires.

You literally can’t f*** it up. You just can’t.

The Universe looks past what you feel you “should” do and tunes into what you want.

And it delivers.

Sometimes it takes an instant. Sometimes it takes sometime.

But you better believe it delivers.

What are you craving in life? What lights you up? What do you NEED to be yours?

The Universe is already working on it 🔮

Go to bed tonight knowing THAT.

Look the f*** up.

Metaphorically yes, but also LITERALLY.

We spend sooo much time looking down.

Looking down at our phones. Looking down at our laptops or iPads. Looking down at our work assignments on our desk. Looking down doing the dishes. Looking down doing the laundry. Looking down cooking. Looking down reading a book.

Do yourself a favor and look up.

Look up and observe what you see. Maybe it’s the ceiling, maybe it’s the sky. Just look up and observe what you’re looking up at.

Look up, breathe in, and remind yourself of everything you have to look up to. {there’s a lot of things to look up to}

So, look. up. now.

These past few months have been a whirlwind of emotions for pretty much everyone I know.
So much change.
Lots of confusion.
Lots of pain.
Lots of JOY.
Lots of everything.
I’ve been with friends who are experiencing horrible breakups, loss of family members, loss of friendships, loss of pets.
My family had to say goodbye to our dog Ruby girl last week after 13 years of life.
Everything is a transition.
Everyone is transitioning.
I see all of YOU transitioning and experiencing the highs and lows of life.
I’m right there with you.
What I’ve felt in the last few days is something amazing. Something big is coming for all of us. Something totally incredible that none of us can foresee.
It’s coming.
For those of you who have been feeling low, I see you. For those of you who have been feeling the highs of life, I see you.
Never forget that we’re all in this together.
No one is alone.
If you can’t feel it yet, I’m here feeling it for you.
With loss comes gain.
Get excited.
BIG things are coming.
I’m already super excited for you, love.
Believe that it’s coming. Because it oh so is.

This post is for all the ladies on my feed—
*vulnerable but worth the share*
I asked my sister to take this picture of me when we were in LA and when I looked at it I immediately thought, “ew I can’t post that I look fat.” Between Instagram culture and mainstream media, it can be hard to feel confident in our own skin. We’re constantly sizing ourselves up whether it’s in a picture or in the mirror.

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been in public and found myself judging other women’s appearances. “She has a better body than me.”
“She probably does this and I don’t, why don’t I do that?”
“Okay, at least I’m not as big as her.”
Ew, WHAT?

Body shame is sooo toxic. But it’s real as hell. My intuition was speaking to me today and I feel like there’s a lottt of women out there who can relate to this.

But here’s the thing—
Even when you don’t feel beautiful, there’s AT LEAST one other person out there who thinks you’re the most beautiful person on the planet.
Even when you’re feeling down on yourself, there’s AT LEAST one other person who would kill to have your life.

Take time to be grateful for all the things you do have, all the things your body does for you, honor it for getting you to where you are today in this very moment.

There’s always more we can do, but none of it will mean anything if you can’t take minute to just be grateful for who you are right at this very second.

Sending love to all the women who struggle with body appearance on the daily.

The other day I was talking with a friend about anxiety. You know- that underlying, weird, lingering anxiety that you can’t quite pinpoint the cause of. But it keeps you distracted and just feels plain uncomfortable.
As we were talking about it, the energy immediately got lighter. And it got me thinking, we don’t remember enough that one of the best feelings in the world is just sharing with someone else what’s on your chest and seeing the expression that comes across their face when in return, they tell you they’ve been feeling the EXACT same way. (This can happen so much more than you think)
We’re human. Things stress us out. Things happen that make us uncomfortable. Sometimes we feel like we’re falling behind. Sometimes we feel like we’re growing distant from others. Sometimes we just feel plain overwhelmed. And really what makes it all feel worse than it actually is-- is keeping how you feel inside.
Share what’s on your mind more often with those around you. Notice how much LIGHTER you feel when you do so. Promise. Human connection is medicine.

Happy Sunday loves!

How do you spend your Sundays?
Studying? Working? Relaxing? Bar hopping? Dreading Monday morning?

I’ve been so busy lately I’m grateful to be spending some quality time grilling up some dinner with my love and sneaking food to Bear all night.
Then catching up on Game of Thrones! I’m watching from season 1 so that I’m all caught up by the time the new season comes out. Also I need emotional support after watching the red wedding.

Debating if I’m gonna sleep in or get up and go to the gym in the AM before I hop online and attend a training on how to make better use of LinkedIn at 11 with some of my Glow girls.

Do you dream of having your own schedule and deciding what you want to do with each new day?

I went to my favorite crystal shop/spiritual bookstore with a friend today.
They have a bookshelf full of demo Tarot/Oracle cards you can play with
before buying. I saw a deck called “Life Purpose Oracle Cards” and felt
called to play with them. I shuffled the deck and asked my guides, “what is
my life purpose?” and intuitively picked three cards, face down. When I
turned them over, the order they were picked was 1) Writing (my college
major) and my number one way of inspiring and sharing stories with others.
2) Counseling (hi, life coach!) and 3) Children (I’ll take my time with
that but have always dreamed of being a mother so I’m glad the Universe
agrees) Also is it any coincidence that there were 8 year old girls playing
with a tarot deck across the table from me?

Tarot and Oracle cards never seize to amaze me and deliver on point
messages.

I’m definitely thinking about buying this deck to use with my clients who
are still trying to discover their true purpose in life. They’re so fun!
And clearly very insightful.

Success (defined on YOUR terms, of course) is an even more unique challenge for women of color, non-cisgender women and women who are struggling medically, physically, emotionally or financially.
We see many opportunities for growth in the coaching and personal development worlds, something that serves YOU as an individual and honors your unique heritage, experiences and ideals.

🌚 Today our Full Moon is in Pisces. This is the final Full Moon of our 13 month lunar cycle.
We have made a full circle around the Zodiac Wheel and now is a time of reflection.
A Full Moon brings the energy of whichever sign it falls in to the surface. In this case, a Pisces Full Moon leaves us the most spiritually in-tune than any other sign. Pisces, a water sign (water signs are the most emotionally in touch out of the four astrological elements), is the sign of mysticism, empathy, and introspection.
The past month has been full of eclipses. We encountered three lunar/solar eclipses back to back, amongst multiple planets stationing or sitting retrograde. Eclipses are intense transformation periods, so lots of us have been feeling triggered by past fears, traumas and inhibitions. We have been processing and working through these experiences both both consciously and subconsciously.. Tonight’s Full Moon feels like the final step in this transformation - finally!

Pisces rules the twelfth house of astrology, the house of closure, spirituality, and the subconscious. All of these elements are highlighted in tonight’s moon.
