Huge Congratulations to Antonio on a fantastic performance at IRONMAN 70.3 Warsaw! 31st out of 109 in his age group.
He raced with intelligence, not ego. Antonio came into Warsaw managing a minor hamstring issue, he didn't ignore it but he didn't let it define his day. He built a smart race plan, controlled effort, took walk breaks at every aid station and executed to perfection. That kind of self-awareness and discipline is one of the key things that separates athletes who tap into their trained potential on race day and ones who don't.
Warsaw's bike course is deceptively demanding, flat, fast, and relentless for 90 kilometers with nowhere to hide. The long race-pace intervals Antonio put in during training prepared him precisely for that kind of constant pressure. That's the Purple Patch Half IRONMAN Race Build doing its job. A plan we continue to refine every single year, because in this sport, you either evolve or you die.
All said and done, he left with more than a result. Antonio is a Tri Squad athlete who showed up, adapted, and delivered on race day. Beyond the splits, he left Warsaw with real confidence in his fitness and momentum for the rest of his season.
