At the 30th Anniversary St. Ambrose Feis hosted by the Cleary School of Irish Dance in Southern California at the end of September, San Francisco’s very own co-Director of the Whelan Academy of Irish Dance, Sheila Whelan Gallagher, had the distinct honor of presenting an award that she herself won in 1994 to her own student, Hannah Logar.
