When you go with a one piece cockpit, you lose out on being able to fine tune handlebar roll and might have to live with some ergonomic compromises. You’re taking a gamble that your head tube angle, stem angle, and drop curvatures will all play nicely.
Here you can see the steep ramp angle from the tops to hoods creating a valley at the back of the hoods. Also the bar ends at the drops are slightly sloping back upwards.
IMO this particular cockpit is just poorly designed. But you come across similar issues across name brand components as well, especially if you’re not on an “average” size bike.
