2026 SPRING & SUMMER Lifestyle Collection

This season’s collection is built around the themes of “Visibility” and “Sensibility.”

Functionality is made visible, while comfort is communicated through experience and feeling.

The fusion of visible rationality and performance felt directly on the skin creates a seamless connection between urban environments and the natural world.

Designs that make a quiet statement, paired with comfort the body instinctively understands, shape a new way of living for everyday life.

Goldwin New York sits at the corner of Lafayette and Houston, at the forefront of SoHo — a neighborhood shaped by movement, creativity, and constant human exchange.

As we continue to be part of this community, we keep close the Japanese saying “Kita toki yori mo utsukushiku” — “leave it better than you found it.”

In a city that rarely slows down, care is something we choose to practice.

A reminder that small acts matter: sweeping the sidewalk, tending to shared space, and paying attention to what is often overlooked.

Stewardship lives in daily rituals — and in how we choose to leave the places we move through.

Goldwin_Behind the Design:

Junpei Omori's ceramics draw inspiration from the expressive energy of Jomon pottery, reinterpreting ancient forms through a contemporary perspective. Rooted in instinct, ritual, and humanity's enduring relationship with nature, his work reflects how natural forces continue to shape the way we create.

This dialogue continues through the Yurameki Shirt. Inspired by the Japanese concept of "Yurameki," the artwork captures subtle moments found in nature: sunlight filtering through trees, the movement of water, and the flicker of flame. Fleeting phenomena are translated into pattern, transforming observation into design.

Though separated by medium, both works share a common approach. Rather than reproducing nature directly, they reinterpret it, finding new forms of expression through craft, material, and contemporary design.

Goldwin_Behind the Design:

Tenshin Juba’s ceramic sphere explores cycles of transformation, return, and the relationship between nature and human craftsmanship. Formed from earth and shaped through fire, the work reflects how raw materials can evolve into objects of permanence and function.

This dialogue continues through the Jupit Light Jacket and Ripstop Hooded Jacket. The Ripstop Hooded Jacket features ECOPET®, a recycled polyester fiber developed from collected plastic bottles that have been material-recycled into new performance fabric, reducing reliance on petroleum while giving existing resources a second life.

Much like Juba’s work, both garments explore transformation through process. Natural and recycled materials are reshaped through technique, engineering, and intention, balancing softness, protection, and structure through lightweight technical design.

Stone shaped by time. Technical garments shaped through movement.

AJI PROJECT transforms Aji stone into functional objects that preserve the raw character of the material while refining its surface through hand-finishing and precision craftsmanship.

Paired with the Goldwin 0 3L Rain Wrap, Helicoid Jeans, and Dry Mesh Jacket, the installation explores how softness, structure, and utility can coexist through both natural and engineered forms. Lightweight fabrics, sculptural silhouettes, and technical textures create a dialogue between material weight and movement, drawing parallels between the permanence of stone and the adaptability of technical apparel.

Goldwin_Behind the Design:

Highlighting the work of Tensegrity Lab, inspired by the structural principle of “tensegrity” — a system where tension and compression exist in balance to create strength, stability, and lightness. Originally explored by Buckminster Fuller and artist Kenneth Snelson, the concept reflects how interconnected forces can create resilient structures through balance and precision.

Paired with Goldwin’s Brewed Protein™ outerwear, developed through one of the earliest long-term collaborations with Spiber to pioneer protein-based fibers in performance apparel. Produced through a fermentation process using microorganisms and plant-derived sugars, the material represents a future-focused approach to textile innovation inspired by nature’s own systems and cycles.

Together, the installation and garments examine how structure, science, and material research can shape the future of design.

Goldwin_Behind the Brand:

Lacquer work by Kyoto-based artist Keiko Nishimura, whose practice explores repeated layers of coating and polishing to create depth, reflection, and texture through traditional Japanese techniques.

The Relax Nylon 2B Jacket, One Tuck Straight Pants, and WF Light Long Sleeve T-Shirt reflect a similar balance of restraint and refinement through clean silhouettes, subtle structure, and technical fabrication.

Like Nishimura’s work, the pieces reveal their depth through surface, texture, and precision — where minimal design becomes an expression of material study.

_GOLDWIN MATERIAL RESEARCH & PERFORMANCE_

Pairing technical outerwear with Hiroshi Sugimoto’s “Lightning Fields” — a photographic study of energy, atmosphere, and natural force. Created by exposing photographic film directly to electrical currents, the work captures lightning-like forms generated through voltage and conductivity rather than a traditional camera process.

The Goldwin 0 PERTEX SHIELD PRO Gleam Anorak, GORE-TEX 3L Blouson, and Sheer Nylon Wind Jacket each explore different relationships between protection, movement, and weather through lightweight technical construction.

From waterproof membranes to translucent nylon textures, the installation reflects how material innovation can shape the way we interact with the environment.
