We believe in the values that Labor Day represents: commitment, discipline, teamwork, and continuous growth. Every day on the mats, we challenge ourselves to become better versions of who we are.

What an unforgettable week! ☀️🥋🦁

Our Summer Camp has officially come to an end, and we couldn’t be more grateful for every moment we shared together.

Thank you to every family who trusted us, every student who showed up ready to learn, play, and grow, and every coach who helped make this experience so special.

This week was about so much more than Jiu-Jitsu. It was about building confidence, making new friends, learning discipline, staying active, overcoming challenges, and creating memories that we hope these kids will carry with them for a long time. 💙

We are incredibly proud of each and every one of you.

Thank you for making this summer one to remember. You are amazing!

JIU JITSU IS CHESS WITH THE BODY.

On the mats, just like on the chessboard, winning is not only about attacking.

Before the submission, there is position.
Before the attack, there is control.
Before victory, there is strategy.

You begin by establishing posture, grips, and distance. Then comes the battle for dominant positions, creating reactions, setting traps, and choosing the right moment to finish.

And when it is time to defend, you breathe, protect, escape, and reset.

Jiu jitsu teaches patience, awareness, timing, and decision making.

In the end, the logic is simple:

Fathers who protect, encourage, guide, support, and show us every day the true meaning of strength, discipline, and love.

On the mat or beyond it, being a father means fighting for the ones you love. It means falling, getting back up, and continuing to lead by example.

Recently, we had the joy of coming together to experience a truly special moment. A moment that always fills us with pride and gratitude. A moment that marks an important milestone in each athlete’s journey. More than just a rite of passage, it is a new chapter written into our story.

Each belt represents much more than a new color around the waist. It represents the hard days when you chose to keep going. It represents sweat on the mats, quiet discipline, respect for your training partners, and the courage to grow a little more with every class.

Our belt promotion was a proud moment for the entire Colhado Brazilian Jiu Jitsu family. Seeing kids, adults, beginners, and advanced athletes take another step in their journey reminds us why Jiu Jitsu is so powerful: it transforms people both on and off the mats.

Congratulations to everyone who was promoted. This achievement belongs to you, but also to every training partner who helped, taught, supported, and shared this journey with you.

We continue together. Stronger. More united. Always evolving.
