Nothing better after a day of work then getting on the mats with a bunch of great people and trying to kill each other.

If your gym experience consists of sets, reps, and time on cardio equipment you're missing out on a HUGE aspect of human movement . . . Play! And If you've never used every faculty you have; cardio, strength, flexibility, willpower and most importantly intelligence to simulate taking another person's life you are truly missing out!

P.S. shout out to for losing just short of 30lbs of fat this past month by switching up his lifestyle; training consistently with us on the mats and adopting a whole food plant based eating plan! Keep up the great work!

Here is a quick overview of an upper body submission flow that Coach has been having the guys go over in class.

Flat mode -> North South Choke -> opponent turns chin in to counter -> Crank on head to make opponent come to knees -> Arm In Guillotine -> Opponent counters by rolling out -> Darse Choke -> Opponent counters by putting arm over head and falling to back -> North South Choke -> Opponent turns chin and hugs head -> Von Flu Choke

Seriously if you’re hoping on a treadmill or hoping on a bike to get in shape you’re making a mistake. Come rough house around with your friends and laugh as you learn how to make them say uncle and get an amazing workout on accident in the process. Then even if you do slip a little bit physically you still have a skill that can truly save your life one day.
