FAMILY… An end of an era has occurred. A gym that was brought back from the dead. Only to face COVID, angry neighbors, misconceptions about CrossFit, individual fears, rumors, and countless other obstacles. We’ve grown into a family, despite it all. A community built from every walk of life. A community, that is truly inclusive. A community that is built on honesty, shared struggle, competition, and love. A community that I’m truly humbled by and blessed to be a part of. I’ve written and deleted this post several times. Struggling to find the words that bring justice to the magnitude of the past six years. In a world where “good enough” is becoming a pandemic. You have shown up and proven that you are capable of anything. There is no challenge that you can’t face. You’ve taught me more than I have ever taught you. Thank you! Ironically, I said never, to owning a gym. It stands as one of the greatest decisions I’ve ever made. Thank you for trusting me with your bodies, hearts, children, fears, dogs, and lives. It has been an honor to be called Coach by you. Though I seamed grumpy and unrelenting at times, the past six years have given me more smiles and cherished memories than I can count. The stories you’ve shared with me will forever hold a place in my heart. You, will forever hold a place in my heart. I’ll see you down the road!
