Just a nice leisurely walk to get our virtual Tevis miles in… a lil stroll around the neighborhood… we definitely were not in any sort of rush at all, no one was trying to turn this into a race 😂

As you can tell, Snacks is pretty much a pro parkour athlete 😂 He got a treat once for stepping up on a stump and now he is obsessed with standing on things 😂

My theme song for trimming Penny’s giant, rock-hard feet that she can’t hold up for more than 10 seconds at a time 😂🫠

Seriously though, HOW do farriers do this all day every day?! There has to be a secret. And if there is, I need someone to share it with me. I am not old enough to be this sore 😳 The grinder helps a lot but still, my back and my wrist have been killing me after trimming 😩

I’ve already decided that my next elderly rescue project needs to be under 14 hands and have decent feet because I am not cut out for this level of manual labor 😖 (watch me end up with a Clydesdale next 🤪)
