SAFETY STARTS WITH TRAINING

This photo shows part of our team completing our annual in-house First Aid and CPR retraining at our 4S Ranch location. Although certification is valid for two years, we revisit these essential skills annually because safety and preparedness deserve ongoing attention.

Our commitment to hiring, training, and developing exceptional staff goes far beyond CPR:

• Every employee completes First Aid and CPR certification and takes a concussion-awareness course.
• Every employee undergoes a background check and pre-employment physical to confirm they can safely perform their role.
• All coaches are required to complete courses through USA Gymnastics, including U100, U101, U110, and other role-related training.
• Gyminny Kids Associates complete additional courses related to working safely with children, including SafeSport and Best Practices.
• New hires complete our proprietary Gyminny Kids Academy training program, customized for coaches, office administrators, managers, and other positions.
• Our coaches follow a standardized curriculum across every location, ensuring consistent quality, proper skill progressions, and strong foundations that children can safely build upon.
• New employees are paired with an experienced mentor who meets with them weekly during their first four weeks and continues supporting them as needed.

We hire for character, personality, and alignment with our core values first. Then, we train and develop the rest. Our team includes people with backgrounds in gymnastics, early childhood education, dance, acrobatics, teaching, theater, kinesiology, personal training, and other sports.

Many of our career staff members have been with Gyminny Kids for 5, 10, and even more than 30 years. Today, two members of our team have each served our families for at least three decades.

These are just some of the ways we identify, onboard, train, and support our people, so families can feel confident that their children are learning from some of the best in the business.
