Life update… because it’s been a while. 🤍

This year has looked nothing like I expected. In a good way though - A few months ago, we packed up our life in San Diego and made the move across the country to upstate New York. It wasn’t because we were looking for something bigger or better—it was because family needed us, and it felt like the right time to say yes. It wasn’t easy but the challenges are worth it!

Since then, life has slowed down in the best way.

We’ve traded beach sunsets for wide open fields, busy schedules for evenings together, and a lot more time outside. Our little guy is getting to experience farm life, we’re planting gardens, fixing up old spaces, and making memories with family that I know he’ll remember forever.

It’s been such a good reminder that wellness isn’t just about taking care of your body. It’s also about the people you spend time with, the pace you choose to live, and creating a life that actually feels good.

I’m still so passionate about chiropractic and helping people move and feel their best. That hasn’t changed. But this season has definitely changed my perspective on what success looks like.

Right now, we’re just soaking it all in. We don’t have every next step figured out, and honestly, that’s okay. Where we will be in the next year is still up in the air and we are looking forward to allowing the universe guide us. 🔮

Thank you for being here through every season. I’m excited to bring you along for this one, too. 💛

Tummy time doesn’t need to be perfect, it just needs to feel supported 🤍

Some babies jump right in.
Others need a little help feeling comfortable in their bodies first.

From a chiropractic perspective, we often look at how well the body is moving, adapting, and regulating especially through the nervous system. Gentle care may support things like tension patterns, ease of movement, and overall comfort, which can make activities like tummy time feel more accessible over time.

Nothing is forced. Nothing is rushed.
We meet babies where they are and support their natural development as it unfolds.

If tummy time feels hard right now, that’s okay-it doesn’t mean you’re behind.
It just means your baby may need a little extra support 💫

Save this for reassurance 🤍
And share with a parent who might need it.

Parents often ask what pediatric chiropractic care actually involves. Simply put, it’s care that’s adapted to a child’s age, size, and stage of development.

When I work with kids, the techniques I use are very different from those used for adults. Pediatric chiropractic focuses on light, specific input to the spine and joints to support healthy movement and development as kids grow.

This approach is something I value not only professionally, but personally I chose chiropractic care for my own son, Liam, because I believe in supporting the body as it develops through each stage of childhood.

If you’re exploring chiropractic care for your child and have questions, I’m always happy to talk through what care looks like and whether it may be appropriate for your family.
And for parents whose kids are already under chiropractic care, feel free to share below what you’ve noticed or appreciated along the way.

Your postpartum support team matters 🤍
Your body goes through rapid changes after birth, from posture shifts to feeding positions to rebuilding core connection. Having care that supports how your body adapts during this season can make the transition feel more supported and intentional.

Postpartum care isn’t about “fixing” your body, it’s about helping it move, recover, and feel its best as you step into motherhood ✨
Have questions about what postpartum chiropractic care can look like? I’m happy to share 🤍 .sd

Calling all back sleepers 👀😴
If sleeping on your back is your go-to, here’s how to make sure your body feels supported as you head into the new year:

BACK SLEEPING BASICS ↓
• Choose a pillow that supports the natural curve of your neck — fuller at the base, softer at the top so your head stays neutral 🛏️
• Avoid pillows that push your head too far forward or let it fall back — support should feel easy, not forced
• Try a pillow under the knees to help the low back relax and stay neutral 🤍

These are simple adjustments, but they can make a big difference in how supported your body feels while you rest.
In 2026, think less about perfection and more about intentional support. ✨

Sleep is part of how we care for our bodies, not just something we squeeze in at the end of the day.
