UC San Diego Women's Club Water Polo Official Page of the UCSD Women's Club Water Polo Team! CWPA Southwest Division Champions: 2018, 2022, 2024, 2026

The UC San Diego Women’s Water Polo Club Team was established in 2007 as part of the Pacific Coast Division for the Collegiate Water Polo Association. UC San Diego jointed the Southwest Division in 2014 after a realignment of the Pacific Coast, Rocky Mountain, and Southwest divisions. Southwest Division is currently comprised of UC San Diego, UC Irvine, San Diego State University, Arizona State University, University of Arizona, and Grand Canyon University. In 2018, UC San Diego defeated San Diego State University in the Southwest Division regional championship game to gain a bid for the first time in the National Championship tournament at Mt. Hood Community College Aquatics Center and finished 5th place overall. After two years of no competition from the 2020 and 2021 spring seasons, the Tritons won the Southwest Division regional title in 2022 defeating Arizona State University and headed to Huntsville Aquatic Center in Alabama for their second National Championship appearance placing 3rd in the nation. In 2024 the Tritons defeated San Diego State University in regionals and returned to the national stage at Texas A&M in College Station, TX placing 3rd in the nation. The UC San Diego women's club water polo program is comprised of 40+ student-athletes and welcomes individuals of all skill levels and water polo backgrounds. We proudly have two teams in our program - one for intermediate / advanced skills and one for building basic water polo skills and knowledge. We strive to be a top contender within our league and represent Southwest Division nationwide. Practices take place during the Fall, Winter, and Spring quarters with league games taking place in Winter and Spring. Practices are at Canyonview Aquatic Center three times a week Tuesdays and Thursdays 7:30-10:00PM and Sundays from 11:00-1:00PM! Athletic performance trainings take place Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:00-6:00PM at Spanos Athletic Facility. Southwest Division Schedule: https://collegiatewaterpolo.org/club/schedules/womensclub/

ALUMNI DAY IS COMING UP SAVE THE DATE‼️‼️

our annual alumni game is on sunday, may 31 from 11am-1pm. this event is always a special opportunity for past and present members of our team to reconnect, celebrate our program, and continue to bring us together year after year. we will be scrimmaging and maybe even playing some inner-tube polo👀👀 following the game, we will be hosting a potluck-style lunch where everyone is encouraged to bring a favorite dish, snack, or dessert!!

we also want to take a moment to sincerely thank all of our alumni who contributed during Triton Giving Days. your generosity and continued support truly make a difference for our program and us as student-athletes. we are incredibly grateful! can’t wait to see you all!
