Not long ago, someone told me, “You should slow down a little.”
And for a moment, I paused to deeply reflect on my life — on all the things I truly love and that make me feel fulfilled:
✨ Time with my family.
✨ Taking care of my health and my home.
✨ Professional growth and success.
✨ Sharing meaningful moments with friends.
✨ Serving and supporting my community.
✨ Personal growth and lifelong learning.
✨ My hobbies and passions.
✨ Resting, reflecting, and connecting with nature.
✨ Traveling and discovering the world.
And as I reflected, I realized something important: there was nothing I wanted to remove.
Because all of it comes from my essence.
All of it gives me life.
All of it brings me peace within myself.
Every person has their own definition of a fulfilling life — and every one of them is valid.
That’s when I understood: it’s not about “shrinking yourself” to fit into someone else’s idea of life.
It’s about finding people who value a life lived with intention, passion, and authenticity. People who are also committed to growing, building, and deeply enjoying life.
That’s the value of our significant other (soul mate) ❤️❤️ — not to make us smaller, but to walk beside each other as equals.
And yes… sharing life with someone special can make it even more beautiful.
So if anyone has ever made you feel like “you’re too much” or “you don’t fit,” remember this:
Don’t dim your light.
Instead, find your people.
And when you find genuine relationships — in love, friendship, or community — cherish them, nurture them, and protect them. 🤍
