The spine was designed to move in waves
And you work more of your back this way, in a true pulling fashion
If you're strictly lifting for gains and hypertrophy, this probably isn't the movement for you
But I would rather sacrifice some of my gains if it means getting my whole body to work together
(W)holistically
Just make sure you engage your core to protect your low back, and tuck your tailbone (posterior pelvic tilt) before each rep
You probably won't be able to lift as heavy, but again, that's a sacrifice I'm willing to make
