Grow your own grub! Fresh spring harvest and finishing up last season beets that survived the super harsh winter in San Diego 🫢😉
it's what's for dinner! Here's a simple noodle stir fry using mixed vegetables from the garden with fresh eggs from our backyard chickens and fermented garlic Serrano chili to support our gut health.
You'll learn waaaaaay more than kicking and punching here, gardening, ferments, animal stewardship are practiced by our adults and taught to our kung fu kiddos who run their own garden here at the school. In our ultra toxic society, you can't even trust organic to be pure and clean, it just means there's fewer chemicals than the other products on the shelf. Having worked with Farmers directly through our beekeeping, the organic farmers are still forced to spray a whole chemical cocktail before they're allowed to sell to the general public. That's why we just grow our own and know exactly what we are putting in our bellies. You'd be surprised what you can grow despite the size of your yard, especially with vertical growing beds, backyard aquaponics systems other hydroponic growing towers.
