Community Alert: South Mission Beach Volleyball Hours
Subject: Potential enforcement of 8:00 a.m. start time for volleyball
Hey everyone,
We wanted to share an important update regarding our morning games. A park ranger approached a community member at the South Mission Beach courts this morning and stated that, starting tomorrow, they will begin enforcing a "no volleyball until 8:00 a.m." rule.
As we all know, our community has gathered at sunrise for years. This early start is essential for those of us who play before heading to work and is a core part of the beach culture here.
What we know:
There has been no specific law or city ordinance cited for this change.
We aren't certain if this is a formal policy shift or a specific warning, but we want to be prepared.
