Two Gold, One Bronze for Team USA at Junior Pan Am Games! 🥇🥇🥉
Both Makani Andrews (Men’s iQFOiL) and Danicka Sailer (Women’s iQFOiL) started their sailing careers in O’pen Skiff. See Danicka in a 2018 O’pen BIC North America “Unregatta” video. Makani won gold, and Danicka earned bronze on the Paraná River in Paraguay. Article link in the bio.

What a weekend of serious fun on the water! The 2025 Intergalactic RI Un-Regatta brought out the best of the best.
We had a stellar turnout with 31 sailors:
🌊 16 from American Yacht Club
🌊 11 from East Bay Sailing Foundation
🌊 4 from Tiverton Yacht Club
A huge shoutout to US Sailing’s Youth Racing Director, John Pearce, who took the helm as PRO and ran a top-tier regatta across the galaxy.

🏆Harry Melges IV – Youngest skipper ever to take the Rolex TP52 World Championship title. Once an O’pen Skiff Un-Regatta champ — now at the top of the sailing world.

⚡Ewan Brazle & Toby Clark – Top U17 finishers at the 29er European Championship in Lake Garda. Both started in O’pen Skiffs, now crushing it on the international scene.

From May 30–June 1, 83 young Open Skiff sailors from across Europe, India, and the U.S. gathered on the shores of Lake Balaton for an unforgettable weekend of racing, fun, and international camaraderie. ⛵🔥
The stoke was high, the competition fierce, and the vibes? Pure Open Skiff energy. 💪💙
