Seirus grew out of 2 guys intent on creating solutions to issues that limited the winter experience of the outdoor enthusiast. One looking to help preserve the boot/binding compatibility for more predictable release while skiing. Thus Cat Tracks were born, which also make for a more comfortable & secure walking experience on winter surfaces. And the other wanting to shield his chops during frequent forays into that sweet Utah powder. While neither of these young outdoor entrepreneurs ever imagined one day these pocket sized, self-fashioned gems would actually put food on the table, they were ambitious & eager to take their new inventions to the market. Flash forward 3 decades and families of products are thriving and engineered to keep you warm like no one else. Now over 300 cold weather protection items and a burgeoning crop of sun protection products are the fruit of the combined imaginations of Seirus' development team, striving to bring both comfort and protection to al of us who love the snowy outdoors. One of the best parts of the seasons changing is the simple pleasure of being outside in a different way.

The air gets a little cooler. The layers come back out. A hot cup of coffee falls back into your morning routine, and suddenly you find yourself taking the long way just because you can.

There’s something special about a city walk when the weather is just right. No big plans, no destination required. Just a good base layer, a little time, and a reason to get outside.

We’ll always make the most of summer, but we’re counting down the days to fall when the city feels a little different and there’s even more reason to stay out and explore.

There’s a certain point at the end of summer when you start looking forward to cooler weather.

Not necessarily the cold. Just that first shift in the air when mornings feel crisp, a jacket becomes part of the routine, and a hot coffee feels even better in your hands.

Picture it: an early morning in the city, your favorite layers back in rotation, coffee on the way, and just enough chill in the air to make you want to linger outside a little longer.

We’re not rushing summer. There’s still plenty of it to enjoy.

But we're also starting to dream about everything we love about the changing seasons: cool mornings, fall adventures, mountain weekends, tailgates, trails, and eventually… that first real taste of winter.

For now, we’ll keep enjoying the sunshine while looking forward to that first unmistakable hint of fall.

Summer camping has a funny way of keeping you on your toes. One minute you're swimming, paddleboarding, or soaking up the sun. The next, the temperature drops, the campfire burns low, and you're wondering why you didn't pack one more layer.

Sometimes, the cold doesn't care that it's August.

A few ways to stay comfortable when the evening chill rolls in:
• Pack lightweight layers you can throw on as soon as the sun starts to set.
• Keep your head, hands, and neck covered since that's where you lose heat the fastest.
